Crowdfunding Capital Limited (CCL) was founded by three highly experienced entrepreneurs who among them have raised billions of pounds of capital for UK businesses over their long careers.

They recognised key issues facing early-stage businesses seeking capital: the correct advice relevant to such young ventures and the need to raise “cornerstone” investment to allow access to the equity platform market.  

The dramatic growth of the major UK crowdfunding platforms and their expansion underway across the European Union has provided an unprecedented opportunity for hundreds of new technology ideas to become businesses in recent years, but many have stalled as they cannot access the necessary capital. CCL aims to unlock the market for these businesses using their experience built up over decades and investing its own money as cornerstone capital.

David is a Corporate Strategy & Development Specialist – characterised as a visionary, strategist, and tactician. He is known for a consistent record of delivering extraordinary results in growth, revenue, and operational background, including start-up financing, mergers and acquisitions and sale of companies.

David Peters has a banking, finance, property, and IT background.  Following a successful career as an entrepreneur during which he founded, built, and either sold or listed numerous companies, David has specialised in the renewable sector in recent years. He has developed and sold several successful businesses in this sector.

David Jackson has a long career as a business-to-business financier across many sectors in the UK and, more latterly, internationally. Following a spell in banking, David launched his first SME focused debt provider in 1989.

Following its sale to a NASDAQ quoted finance house, David developed several B2B financing platforms targeted at UK businesses and the public sector with access to unique financing products negotiated with some of the world’s largest financial institutions. Rapid growth led to inclusion in the Sunday Times Fasttrack listing three years running.

He launched into the UK cleantech and waste sector in 2011 with an acquisition of the franchise to market big belly Solar bins in the UK and Europe, creating the largest reseller globally by utilising an innovative financing programme to assist Councils in acquiring the technology. This led to an involvement in most renewable asset classes and now includes projects across Europe, Africa, and the USA, with an active pipeline of over £1BN of projects to be delivered over the next two years.

David now advises and invests in a range of sectors featuring disruptive technologies and manages the funding requirements of many large UK property developers.
